Intuition
Spirituality is intuition. It’s tapping into the secret chamber of your heart and living from a place that is true to ‘you’. It’s leaving behind opinions and trends and living intuitively from within. Intuition requires you to be in the present moment.
All of us have goals that we desire to achieve yet all too often we get caught up in the plans. Nothing great that has ever been achieved has gone according to plan.
The great oak tree starts out as a seed. It doesn’t know what it will become, it just grows. If you desire to accomplish a goal, just start on the path, no matter how vague your sense of direction is. Trust that you will be given the exact means you require to accomplish your desired outcome.
Sometimes I just start writing without a preconceived subject and word by word without thought, the message or subject begins to show itself.
This is how anything that is naturally great comes about. Great music is written in the moment from bursts of intuitive brilliance. Great sculptors do not know what a piece of wood will reveal unto them. They start without preconceived notions and allow themselves to be guided by intuition. Great lives are lived from the heart, no matter what.
Intellectual plans are like walking on the spot whilst looking at your destination in the distance. Then as soon as you take your first step a gust of wind blows you off course and your well laid plans with it.
It’s better to just take the first step in faith without the intricate planning. If your first step is off course you’ll probably find that same gust of wind will blow you back on course. This is the easy way to do things rather than struggle with well thought out futures that are ultimately illusionary.
All great things happen naturally. That’s not to say that it doesn’t take hard work, but it can never be forced. All great songs write themselves, the musician just has to get out of the way and allow it to happen. He becomes a mediator as the music channels in from the infinite mind lattice.
Sometimes we can liken our mind to the musician. We have to learn to set aside the analytical mind which constantly tries to categorise data and bring logic to the situation. Logic pollutes the perfection of intuition.
In the relationship between intuition and logic, make intuition the master and logic the slave. The intuitive mind is coming from a place of much higher consciousness than that of the intellect. Great pathways in life are to be found when the intuitive mind is allowed to run free without obstruction from the intellect.

When your undecided and your mind is saying one thing, and you heart is saying another, your emotions are always telling the truth. Emotions are real. Cognitive thoughts are ephemeral and illusionary in nature as their basis of reasoning is founded outside of the present moment.
The logic that the intellect presents is founded on past events or illusionary hypothetical possibilities. We often bow down to intellectual reasoning out of fear instead of allowing present moment intuition to guide us. Of course a balance must be maintained but far too often the scales are tipped in fear’s favour.
It can be hard to distinguish between intuition and thought based conclusions. The line can become very blurred as pure intuition becomes polluted with noise from the mind. The secret when requiring an answer is to quiet the intellect and listen to the heart. This can take some practice.
Strength and discipline come into play when you act upon intuitive guidance despite the logic that your intellect provides. It’s initially hard to live from the intuitive heart, but in the long run it’s harder not to.
Your intellectual logic is fear based as its reasoning is founded upon the illusion of need and the prevention of loss. Try to strengthen your intuitive muscle by obeying it…and live from your heart.
